The Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico is home to world class Smallmouth Bass Fishing. The Smallmouth Bass is one of the most prized game fish of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico and the perfect adversary for the fly fishing angler. These rod bending, surface smacking “bronze-backs” readily attack top water presentations, and are a consistent producer throughout the canoe season. Their relentless fighting ability is known everywhere, thus providing the perfect adversary for the fly fisher-person to test their abilities against. This trip will focus on the special techniques required to catch these fish and will incorporate casting techniques, fly tying, and catch and release.

NORTHWOODS GUIDED FISHING PACKAGE
This 7-night package includes NEWLY REMODELED lakeside housekeeping cabin accommodations (NOT a motel room like some other packages you might see in Ely), 14' boat & 15hp motor and a Guided Day Fishing Trip.
Rates are per person, plus taxes & licenses

3 people - $475 per person
4 people - $375 per person
* Available from May 1 through June 20 and August 15 through September 30

* For 2 people, ADD a second Guided Day Trip for $300

- Beverages & Snacks (beverages need to be in plastic containers if your trip will be in the BWCA)
What time do you start & where do you meet the guide?
- After reserving a trip, we will discuss with you the start time and to either meet at the resort or an Ely lake. Full or half day morning trips generally start at 6:30-7:30am. Full days are 8 hours on the water, half days are 4 hours.
