Guided Fishing Day Trip

There are endless options for fishing with the lakes in the Ely Area. Whatever species of fish you are looking at catching we can customize a trip for you.

Trip Includes: Guide, Boat (or canoe), Gas, Bait & Complimentary fish cleaning/packaging

FULL DAY : Rate (1-2 people): $575.00 per trip
Additional people – $125.00 per person

6 hour : Rate (1-2 people): $500.00 per trip
Additional people – $100.00 per person

HALF DAY – 4 hours: Rate (1-2 people): $425.00 per trip
Additional people – $75.00 per person

Max of 3 customers in guide’s 16′ boat on BWCAW motor boat trip.
With group of 4-6 customers – two 16′ boats and 2 guides would be required for BWCAW motor boat lakes.

Max of 4 customers in guide’s 19′ boat on White Iron Chain and other non-BWCAW lakes

DOES NOT include BWCA permit, motorized portage fee, MN fishing license, Forest Service Tax or guide gratuity.

What time do you start & where do you meet the guide?

After reserving a trip, we will discuss with you the start time and to either meet at the resort or an Ely lake. Full or half-day morning trips generally start at 6:30-7: 30 am. Full days are 8 hours on the water, half days are 4 hours.

Guided Trip Deposit/Cancellation Policy: Deposits are nonrefundable for any reason including, but not limited to travel delays, illness, family or business emergencies, loss of income, early departure/late departure, etc. Guests are advised to purchase trip insurance. Date changes may be available with 30 days prior to trip date(s) under our sole discretion. Guided Day trips do proceed during rain/wind. With regards to lightning – the start time of the guided day trip will be pushed back until it is safe to be on the water and the thunderstorm has passed or if a thunderstorm while out on the water, the guide will take you to shore until it is safe to be back out on the water.
